Merry Christmas!

I asked Tom what his favorite Christmas memory is and he said it was the year he started to doubt Santa. He was about 11 or 12 and was questioning whether Santa could really know if you've been good or bad and get around in one night giving gifts to children all over the world. So Christmas Eve Tom put up a stocking for his dog, Abu. He thought he could pull a fast one on Santa and when the stocking was empty on Christmas he would know Santa wasn't real. Then on Christmas morning Abu's stocking was filled! Tom said, "There's no way he could have known Abu would have a stocking! Santa had to be real."

Tom sleeping in on Christmas morning. Nice mustache.

Merry Christmas!

Day 22, 23, 24

This break we watched all 8 Harry Potter movies. We've been having dreams with wands. At the beach yesterday we wrote baby names in the sand and played hangman. I wrote "Santa is coming" then Tom wrote "Not if you're naughty." We also started our other Christmas puzzle this week. :)

Today we worked out,

went grocery shopping (never again on Christmas Eve), got rained on coming home, went to the beach and we're having enchiladas for Christmas Eve dinner!

Merry Christmas Eve!!

19, Twenty, 21

This weekend we watched Jack Frost, had the Christmas program at church and ate delicious ice cream. Today we were poured on at the beach! Tom jumped back in the water and I stood in the resorts yoga area. Fun fun!

11 weird pictures from this term...

The AC in our other room where Tom studies stopped working so he joined me for a bit. Guess what I was watching.

Flooding in the other room from the rain. Wonderful.

Mosquito that was bouncing around probably with some nasty virus in it!

Dry hands in Grenada. Unheard of! I put lotion on this day!

Bread from our neighbor. So awesome.

Finishing our lovely dinner. Slowly..

6 & Seven

Yesterday we spent all day after church in the AC and watched Step Mom and The Polar Express and ate brownies and ice cream for dessert. It was great.

Tom is taking his final test for this term right now. Pathology. So now we can walk to the beach together, go grocery shopping together and work on this awesome Christmas puzzle from Grandma!!

Day 4

Tom made me lunch today after I came home from shopping. What a guy!

And it looked like a snowman face! I ate it's other eye here...

I love it when people make a bunch of sweet things and bring them to you just when you need something sweet. There were also truffle looking brownie things that we ate. FOUR treats!

Two

Today we got two boxes from Grandma! The lady at the post office said, "Looks like Christmas came early." Yep. :)

Got a few ants from the post office too...

It's nice and windy today but I didn't feel much of that on my trip into town so I was hot. So hot and sweaty that when I got home I changed every piece of clothing I was wearing. Nice huh? 86 degrees but feels like 99 according to the weather app. Sounds about right.

Day 1

Happy December!

Here's a nice little advent calendar Grandma sent us last year that we didn't get to use. Tom has placed the first ornament!

I love Christmas time. I'm struggling to sing the Christmas hymns at church though. Too many emotions going on.
