I asked Tom what his favorite Christmas memory is and he said it was the year he started to doubt Santa. He was about 11 or 12 and was questioning whether Santa could really know if you've been good or bad and get around in one night giving gifts to children all over the world. So Christmas Eve Tom put up a stocking for his dog, Abu. He thought he could pull a fast one on Santa and when the stocking was empty on Christmas he would know Santa wasn't real. Then on Christmas morning Abu's stocking was filled! Tom said, "There's no way he could have known Abu would have a stocking! Santa had to be real."
