Jackson Hole, Wyoming

The night before last I had a dream that Eli kneed me in my leg. Weird. And so I kneed him back harder. That's when I woke up and realized that it was Tom's knee or something that had touched me and I had just kneed him back. Hard. :/ He didn't remember in the morning. But this morning Tom told me I was kicking him last night.. hmm. I think I remember kicking him actually. If you want to call it that.

I also had a dream with Laney Mota in it. Which is pretty weird because we weren't close friends or anything. In fact I was better friends with her little brother Rhett. In my dream she was sitting at a bench and I came over and said, "Hey Laney." I had a bag of almonds and I was munching and talking to Laney. I don't know what that was about though..

So on Friday we were in Jackson!
This is what my hair looked like. I braided it wet the night before and was too lazy to take them out.  I show you my hair because when we went into Wild Hands, a lady working there starred at me for a while and said to her coworker, "It's getting windy out." Tom said that she did look out the window first.

Tom and I. With my good side:
I do have a good side and a bad side. Good side:
 Long side:
Best side!: How cute is he?!
One of the first places we went was a gallery that shows off different artists' art. There must be a different artist in there every time we go. Tom loved these.
I took some pictures with my phone but I don't know how to put them on my computer. He had a plane with yellow butterflies on and following it too. He uses aluminum from mostly beer cans that he finds on the streets of New York and burns them or paints them. It was really fun to see. His name is Paul Villinski.

In that same gallery there was jewelry. From 10 different artists. But one caught my eye. Weird, I know.
This one and I think most of her work is rose gold but not too pink with an Ethiopian opal and diamonds.

Her gold looks like it's almost dripping on the rocks. I love it.
I think the first ring in this lower picture was in the gallery. I should have tried it on because I love it. The last one I really like too.
She does more than just rings but I like the rings the most. Her name is Lucifer Vir Honestus and her company's name is Luna.

Then of course we went to Thomas D. Mangelsen's gallery. Tom loves him. His photos are great because they're so clear but he's so far from these animals with his huge camera. I LOVE these elephants!! The first two photos are my favorite. He had them in the perfect frame too. Perfect.

We went in the RARE Gallery almost last. It has random art and sculptures in it. The owner's two daughters were in there so they were talking to us. Mostly the oldest one was asking where we were from and then telling us she's been to the Rexburg Rapids and the park with the water 'playground' in it and mini golfing in Rexburg. As we were leaving the young one spoke up and asked us if we were boyfriend and girlfriend. Tom said, "No, we're husband and wife." And she said, "Oh! So you have kids!" Nope. Not yet.

Top Ramen

Yesterday Tom made me some American Okinawan Soba or "real top ramen" as Tom called it.
It was pretty good! Tom says it's better in Japan though, of course, and they have spices that we don't.

These are the vegetables our neighbors gave us from a random garden someone told them about.
As you can see the tomatoes are missing. That one there is store bought. I ate the cherry tomatoes pretty quick. And then today Brother Miller came over with these:
Yes!!!

So tonight I'm making some Veggie Pies!

Singing sweet songs Of melodies pure and true...

I want to post pictures from Whitney's wedding and reception but Tom took the pictures in some weird dmc format so that might take some time...

I also don't have a picture of Brother Miller from my ward with his almost-two-year-old son. He was standing by the mail boxes while his kid opened and closed all of the low big boxes where they put the big mail. It was like someone standing waiting for their dog to do its business so they could go back inside. Precious. But Tom made me think twice about taking that picture and I was too late. And then later that day Brother Miller gave us a big bag of vegetables which was awesome!

Being a blogger as I am I sometimes take little things that happen during the day and say, "oh I'll blog about that." Like when I sliced my left ring finger while cutting something stupidly with a big knife.
That was dumb. It doesn't look so bad though but it scared me. And I said to myself "I'll just blog about it." Psh.

And Tom and I were tanning up at a church where the road dead ends. So no is up there usually. And I wanted to take my top off but I hadn't before because that's a little scary. There are still houses that could binocular and see me and those people working on the field over there. But I said to myself, "If the police come because I'm topless in public and I get in trouble for indecent exposure or public disturbance, at least it would be a good story." So I took it off.

I do have a video to share that I thought was really great.

To Another Blog...

THIS is especially for you, Mom. It will give you the best dreams. And you might hate me and my blog for a while. But it was written by Karen of The Art of Doing Stuff!

Wedding Cake

Tom had to leave really early yesterday morning to take his GRE test in Pocatello and so he woke me at 5:30 to pray. Now, I'm not a morning person. Not a morning person at all. But something I've noticed this week is that it's really easy to get out of bed early when my mouth is in pain. I love pain medication.

So I finished the bridal shower card.
I like this card more the wedding card. That one was a copy and this one was completely my ideas. Except I got the "for the bride to bee" from the bridal shower invitation (see last post).
I was going to put this Victoria's Secret present after the dots but right before I was going to glue it down Tom moved it and said it would look better without it. He was right. The present makes it a little too fun and pink. But now it's more formal and still a little fun. Especially with that awesome cake.

My work space. One day it'll be a whole room! :D

This is what Tom just did. :)
It's awesome. One day when I make some journals I think this would be a good cover for them.

Love Birds

I just made this card for Whitney. She's getting married August 21st.

I found the idea online.. so it's just a copy card.

Some of Tom's sisters and I are all pitching in to get her some lingerie for her bridal shower. I've been asked to make the card for that. It should be fun. Coming soon..

This is Whitney's clever wedding invitation made by her and her mom.
It ties the knot as you open it!

And here is the bridal shower invitation that Missy made.
"A wedding! I love weddings, drinks all around!"

Tease

Yesterday I ate a whole peach by myself. Here's how I did it:
Mmmm Hmm

And here is a little teaser of something I'm working on right now.
What is that? A burger? A clam? Hm.

And here is a picture of me to make me feel better about posting that half chipmunk one yesterday.
I know it's weird I even have a picture like this of myself on my computer. It's a white one.
