The Rum Distillery and Annandale Waterfall

 Making rum the old fashioned way

This was our guide.

Burning the sugar cane leftovers to heat the juice. Like his shirt? It's Mickey trying to put out a fire.

"But why is all the rum gone?" I said that then Tom asked our guide about rum and pirates. Apparently they were the transport for the rum from here back to Britain.

The end where they get the fermented sugar cane juice... I don't know what's going on here. Those glass cylinders are for something. The rum they make isn't legal in the states because of the high alcohol content. We got to sample it after. Not.

We stopped at a little shop on the way home and this was the view from out back. We tried some nutmeg syrup here too.
