Phone Call Endings

Yesterday I got to talk with two of my precious siblings. The phone calls both ended pretty funnily...

Stanley was eating Oreos, I was eating a carrot. Anyway.

Saying bye to Stanley:

Stanley: "bye Lil"

Me: "bye Stanley"

Stanley: "byyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

Me: "byeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

Stanley: "We should hang up when it gets to 15 minutes. Four, three, two, one. 

*click*

Me: "haha good one. ... Stanley?..."

What a way to say good bye!

AND THEN
I talked to Hannah. :) One of the maybe two people that read this blog...
Michael Joe got home while we were talking and so she said good bye and I said bye.
But while I said bye I was in the middle of making a turkey sandwich. I had the turkey in my hands. And the phone on my shoulder.
I couldn't hang up until the hands were washed.

And then I heard Hannah talking... not to me-to Michael. She didn't hang up either! So I was forced to hear her and Michael talking as I quickly put the turkey on my sandwich and washed my hands.
The End.

Happy Birthday to Sophia yesterday! And here was a piece of her sunset.

The Change Jar

One day sometime last semester I was walking down the stairs in the Ricks building on the Brigham Young University-Idaho campus. I go up and down these stairs almost everyday. (It's the math building.:) That day I walked down the first set of steps and saw a penny on the floor and then saw another at the bottom of the second set of steps! And I thought to myself, "I'm going to start a jar." So I turned around like a weirdo and picked up the pennies.

 And here is it. The Change Jar!

We always see change on the ground outside or in stores or locker rooms or wherever and I never pick any of it up. Who does that? But when I saw those two pennies in a row I decided to pick up every change I see and put it in a jar and use it for something good when there's enough in there. Service money. Today I found a whole QUARTER and a penny in the locker room! :D

TA-DA!

 Tom still has two pennies that he found to put in there too. Looking good!

Once Upon A Time..

The other day I remembered something from when I was younger. I don't know how younger... I must have been in high school. Or younger.

I was sitting on the chill sack thing in our living room all by myself for some reason one night. Everyone was getting ready for bed though. So that's why I think maybe I was in high school because I wasn't getting ready for bed yet. Eli is three years younger than me and he was getting ready for bed. I remember Eli came from his room and or the bathroom because Mom must have been in his room with Stanley. And either Eli didn't see me or he chose to ignore me. But he came out into the living room and turned around in front of the couch and knelt down and prayed. He didn't pray out loud or anything but he was saying his night time prayers.

How precious! My sweet little brother praying out there. He was so cute. :') And he still is. :)
